Full Service Details
Any or all of the following services may be used in the completion of a project. Here, we’ve broken down the aspects of a document quality control project and we typically recommend a whole service approach which includes a combination of any or all of the following processes.

Copyediting
The copyediting process begins once the author has completed the final draft of a document. Our copy editor works hand in hand with the author clarifying content, answering questions and rearranging text as necessary. We thoroughly check for spelling, punctuation, proper word usage and grammar. Using existing style guides or company branding guidelines, we check style and content for consistency.

Content and Design Proofreading
This step occurs after the content of a document is placed into a design layout. We read the page proofs word-for-word, carefully comparing final proofs with the original document. In this process, we are looking for typographical errors and misspellings. Additionally, we look at adherence to design specifications, kerning (spacing between letters), and excessive hyphenation.

Website Proofreading
This process should be done before a page is published to a website. Website text will be treated exactly the same as a hard copy document, utilizing the processes described above.

Web Content Writing
Working with existing company materials and staff, we compile information for search-engine-friendly content. We research the company and its competitors, identifying business goals and defining a competitive edge. Content will be compelling and informative, persuading a call to action. Content can be written for the following web site attributes: FAQS, news, articles, product descriptions, staff pages, BLOGS, and more.

Press Release Writing
Press releases will be written in an acceptable media format. Using company marketing materials and interviews conducted with appropriate staff or event representatives, we’ll create clean, concise copy for all forms of media.

Data Testing
Using the client’s test plans or plans that we create against specifications, we can test for data content and accuracy for web or PC based applications. Using the client’s tools or hardcopy, we will check the data in the application against the data source. We can utilize existing error reporting templates or create a new template for our customers.

Black Box Functionality Testing
Using the client’s test plans or plans that we create against specifications, we can test the user interface for web or PC based applications. We can utilize existing error reporting templates or create a new template for our customers.
