About Us

 

Stephanie Hatton has worn many career hats since graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Her experience in diverse fields throughout her working career and the entrepreneurial blood which runs through her veins ultimately led her to create this company – Goof Proof Services, LLC.

 

Stephanie brings this experience to Goof Proof:

  • Stephanie worked on two projects as a Quality Assurance Tester for Chrome Systems, Inc., Portland, OR in distinct areas. One project required standard black box functional testing including writing and executing test plans as well as writing and retesting defects. This project was for a B2B web based application using ASP architecture. The other project was also for a B2B web based application targeted solely at the data content and accuracy. Tasks included comparison and analysis of automotive vehicle configuration data for accuracy and completeness as well as the recording of results in standard templates.
  • Stephanie has been published in two national magazines and one local publication as a Freelance Writer in the United Kingdom & United States.

Her responsibilities included writing press releases and liaising with contacts in the media to promote the organization and its activities. Stephanie maintained extensive mailing lists and files associated with the position. She served on theater production staffs as advertising and promotions manager. Other responsibilities included box office, concessions, group sales, program ad sales and ticket promotions.
